AMINO+RECOVERY REVIEW
- Christian Thibaudeau
Each of the amino acids can have a "pharmacological" action in the body if they are present in sufficient quantity and there is a balanced level of complete proteins in the blood so as not to "hide" the sudden rise of some amino acids.
This is why I personally recommend taking any amino acid formulation separately from proteins. BCAAs are three amino acids (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine) which have several effects (including the one we are particularly interested in: the activation of mTor, which increases the synthesis of proteins = muscular gains) The Amino + Recovery contains these 3 amino acids in addition to several others which also have their functions.
For example, taurine, a balancer of the nervous system (and not a stimulant!). When you are too stimulated (post-workout), taurine will calm the nervous system, helping with recovery. Taurine helps the health of the heart and is a powerful antioxidant (which again helps recovery, since during training we produce an incredible amount of free radicals). Antioxidants are needed to fight them. L-Alanine helps to produce energy and maintain optimal blood sugar levels. It also helps to strengthen the immune system.
The immune system is very important in the process of adaptation following a workout. L-Carnitine has several interesting functions, most notably improving the transport of fat in order to use it as energy (gives more energy to the body while facilitating the fat loss). Amino + Recovery also contains adaptogenic ingredients such as ashwaganda, Siberian ginseng and panthetine, improving the body's ability to respond and adapt to stress.
By this very fact, this formula decreases the level of cortisol. Can be consumed immediately after training (1 scoop) and another time (1 scoop) between meals to maximize recovery.
